Kelvin Pruitt is a founding member and current President of The New Standard, Inc. Kelvin is based in Tampa, FL, and is also the creator and CEO of MentaLIFE Wellness as well as School Director for 3DE/ Junior Achievement. Previously, Kelvin has served as the Statewide Program Director at University of South Florida St. Petersburg and a Dean of Students and Professional School Counselor at both the middle and high school level. He is a graduate of Tennessee State University, having obtained a bachelor's degree in Agricultural Sciences and a master's degree in Education Counseling.

Gerald Lee II is a founding member and current Vice President of The New Standard Inc. As a college graduate from Central Michigan University, Gerald obtained a bachelor’s degree as a double major in Marketing and Logistics and now holds a sales leadership role with one of the nation’s leading HCM software/technology companies. Along with his duties in corporate America and mentorship, Gerald also serves as an assistant coach in the Southfield High School for Arts and Technology football program. He also volunteers throughout Detroit with programs such as Big Brothers Big Sisters and Downtown Boxing Gym Youth Program.

Steven Freeman was born and raised in Memphis, TN. He has a bachelor’s degree from Tennessee State University and a master’s from Cambridge College. Steven has served elementary, middle, and high school families as a Professional School Counselor. He has also served as an Assistant and Head Basketball Coach at the middle and high school level. Steve currently dedicates his spare time to mentoring young men at his High School and serving as Co-Sponsor for the 100 Leading Gentleman at Southwind High. 

Brandon Nabors joins us from the south side of Chicago.  He attended Tennessee State University where he studied Business Administration.  Brandon has held numerous corporate management positions and has recently launched his own global supply company. He is a dedicated community football coach with a passion for children of all ethnic backgrounds.

Dominique Boyd is a founding member of The New Standard Group. As a graduate of Tennessee State University - Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering, Dominique has continued to ascend throughout his career as a Transportation Engineer for the North Carolina Department of Transportation – Transportation Planning Division in Raleigh. Currently, Dominique is a volunteer Transportation Manager for the Special Olympics of North Carolina - Summer Games and is a member of the Institute of Transportation Engineers and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc.  Dominique is also co-founder of Carolina United Flag Football Club. 

Michael Owens was born and raised in Marion, SC. He has a bachelors degree from Coastal Carolina University  and a masters degree from Jacksonville University. Michael is currently in his 8th season with the Jacksonville sharks as the Director of Football Operations and also serves as the varsity football Offensive Coordinator at Andrew Jackson High School in Jacksonville,  Florida.
